Energy Efficiency Exhibition 2010 attracted decision-makers from all business sectors to the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry
1,390 business professionals (+10%) gathered at the 3nd Energy Efficiency Exhibition from Oct 5-6th 2010 at the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 2/3 of the visitors were decision-makers. They came predominantly from the industrial, trade and realty sectors; 33% came from medium-sized businesses, 27% from large enterprises, 29% were freelancers. Energy efficiency “Made in Germany” also attracted international visitors, e.g. from the United States of America, Brasil and India.
The conference program in particular was a highlight, with 1,380 participants attending 35 lectures on the topic of energy efficiency. Professionals were especially interested in basic information and practical examples. The main topics of the lecture program were energy management, reduction of energy costs, contracting, energy efficiency in businesses and and block heat and power plants.
The exhibition-concomitant study emphasizes the companies’ strong need for information. Visitors prefer integrated wholistic solutions: The establishment of an energy management system was named as the most important planned company energy efficiency measure. The second-most important measure is contracting. 19% of visitors have an energy efficiency investment budget of over 1,000 000 EUR at their disposal. The average investments per visitor amount to 471,080 EUR.
The exhibition’s intent is to motivate decision-makers and multipliers in the economy to use energy substantially more efficiently in their companies and to invest in energy efficient technologies. The fair shows potentials for saving energy and presents possible solutions as well as contacts and information. Hosts are beewell Business Events, the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Association of Hessian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
The 4th Energy Efficiency Exhibition will take place Oct. 5-6th 2011 at the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
